Welcome to our new website

Welcome to our New Website!

Hello and welcome to our new website, its been a long time coming!

As you can see we have made it into the 21st Century with this fantastic new website. Our old but faithful Morris Minor website has finally run out of steam, it was 20th Century Technology and was basically being held together with sticky tape and string, regularly creaking under the strain and occasionally even falling over.

Our new website definitely thrusts us well and truly into the 21st Century and over the next few months we will be adding more parts and information whilst also finely tuning it.

Check out our new One Offs, Miscellaneous and Seconds section, this will be regularly changing as items come and go. We will also be adding a new Tools & Equipment section within the coming weeks.

As part of launching our new website, orders over £250 + Vat will automatically be discounted by 5% and orders over £750 + Vat will get a bigger discount of 8%.

About Bull Motif Spares

Bull Motif Spares started life as Bull Motif Restorations, my Mum and Dad started the business way back in 1976, spotting that at the time there was no company specialising in the servicing and repairs of Morris Minors.

The business was put on hold until 1981, which is the year the business started in earnest. Dad was a first class trained welder. Able to weld virtually any metal required, and not using a MIG welder but able to weld with gas and oxygen. Which is sadly a dying trade these days.

The business gained its name from a clever take on the county badge of Oxfordshire. The Morris Minor was assembled in Cowley, Oxfordshire, hence the bonnet badge being an Ox over a Ford. Whilst Ox Motif Restorations didn’t quite have the right sound, Bull Motif Restorations had a much nicer ring to it, so that’s what they chose to call the business.

Over the coming years the business continued to grow and changed its name to Bull Motif Spares, who now are one of, if not the largest specialist Morris Minor parts suppliers in the world. The company is now located 9 miles from Junction 9 of the M5 in the picturesque Cotswold town of Winchcombe, very close to the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway. The company now trades from 15,000 sq/ft of warehouse space.

This new website is dedicated to the memory of my dad Pat Fitton and my mum Deanne, without their dedication, hard work and love of Morris Minors, Bull Motif Spares would not be here today.

You could say, they certainly got the Bull rolling!!
